Instagram only shows the first 1-2 lines of a post before the “more” button. That's why these first words should be as intriguing, emotional, or useful as possible.
Your content should sound like it was written by a friend, not a corporate marketing department. Use simple phrases, emotions, and slang (if it suits your brand).
For example, if your audience is young girls who are interested in cosmetics, you can write:
“Girls, we found the perfect foundation for you! It goes on like a second skin 😍”.
And if you sell premium clothing, the tone should be more refined:
“Perfect cut, expensive fabrics, and minimalism in every detail - that's what real style is.”
People remember stories, not dry facts. Include personal stories, real-life cases, problems, and solutions in your posts.
Without a clear indication of what to do next, even the best post may not produce results. Add calls to action (CTAs) at the end of your text:
